If you want to attain that sexy fit body, then nothing beats exercise and a strict selection of food to get yourself trimmed and glowed. And by glow it means having a fabulous skin to emphasize your shape. How do you attain all these? Eat the right kind of food especially ones that are rich in Vitamin C, E, Beta Carotene and Omega 3 fats. Vitamin C is an antioxidant and enhances collagen production. Collagen serves as a glue-like substance that sticks body cells collectively. An unhealthy lifestyle and lack of Vitamin C can deteriorate collagen production leading you prone to bruises, and poor healing of scrapes and cuts. Your skin will also lose its elasticity. A good source of Vitamin C includes broccoli, grapefruits, oranges, red peppers, and strawberries. Compare to Vitamin C, Vitamin E is a powerful antioxidant preserving healthy skin cells. As a result, it can help to prevent premature wrinkling. Great sources of Vitamin E include almonds, avocado, peanut butter and wheat germ. Beta Carotene assists in maintaining epithelial tissue and like Vitamins C and E; it also acts as an antioxidant. Beta carotene is deeply found mostly in fruits and vegetables like apricots, carrots, mangoes and sweet potatoes. Lastly, Omega 3 Fats helps preserve the veracity of cell membranes. Foods with Omega 3 include fatty fishes like sardines and salmon, walnuts and flaxseeds. For effective and faster results, try to avoid meals that are conducive to an unhealthy body such as excessive carbonated beverages or soft drinks, meals that are heavy in Fats and Carbohydrates, Salty foods found in junk foods, and excessive sugar and alcoholic contents. Make sure you drink water just enough for body recovery, and disseminate three heavy meals into a low-volume five meal per day diet with a 4 hour interval between each meal. |
